When Sleep Comes

In the end, it can be hard to let go.
Hard to fall asleep, knowing that tomorrow feels like worlds away in a dream-scale distance.
Knowing that today is nearing its close, that I don’t have time for more tasks, more, more…
But in the end, I really just want to know:
Did I love well today?
.
.
.
Each day has been feeling like a whole life; each night a small death.
And so, I get to practice. Practicing the art of living and dying, again and again.
.
.
.
When my life is over, I really just want to know:
Did I love well?
